Become an ambassador

Would you like to become an ambassador? Great! This is your chance to work together with other internationals and locals from Utrecht Region on some exciting projects in which you can express your creativity and turn your ideas into tangible projects.

The ambassador club consists of 10 to 15 internationals living, working or studying in Utrecht Region. We would like the club to be as diverse and inclusive as possible. So people from all ages, genders and nationalities are welcome to join. We will select the members of the ambassador club on basis of their level of motivation and the current group composition, in order to compile an ambassador club that represents the international community in Utrecht Region. To guarantee continuity, we ask our ambassadors to join the club until at least the end of the year 2020.

What we offer

When you become one of our ambassadors, you will get:

  • Access to a large network in Utrecht Region that can open doors to career opportunities
  • The opportunity to represent the regional international community
  • Free and fun ambassador meetings/drinks/activities
  • A platform to present amazing new projects in Utrecht Region where you can discover and develop your creative skills
  • A free media/networking training at the start of every new year
  • Free access to all IWCUR related events
  • When available: free tickets from partners for e.g. theatre, events, festivals etc.

What we expect

When you become one of our ambassadors, we will ask the following:

  • That you are committed to the club until at least the end of the year
  • That you will take part in the ambassador meetings that will take place twice for every project (so 6 times a year)
  • That you try to attend events related to the ambassador club
  • That you take you role as ambassador seriously and you are willing to spend some time on projects outside the meetings

Do you want to become a regional ambassador? Apply now by sending a motivation letter to IWC@utrechtregion.com, and explain why you think you would be a great addition to the ambassador club and a representative for the international community of Utrecht Region!

The deadline for the application is June 26th. To ensure that we compose an ambassador club that is demographically diverse and represents the international community in Utrecht Region, we will select our ambassadors based on their motivation and the composition of the group of ambassadors.
