UR-Glocal

Ambassador club

Meet the ambassadors of UR-Glocal! We are Utrecht Region’s internationals: a community of global citizens with a local perspective. We represent the international community of Utrecht Region and work on fun and inspiring projects to further improve the region as a welcoming place for internationals.

We organise fun and free events for internationals such as a King's Day event, language café, and regular movie nights and crafternoons. Follow us online to stay up-to-date on our latest projects and free events for internationals.

Who are we?

Our ambassador club consists of 8 internationals with diverse backgrounds and from different countries, and we have one thing in common: we are now living, working or studying in Utrecht Region and are enthusiastic and driven to be the voice of the international community in the region.

What do we do?

As ambassadors, we work on fun and inspiring projects to help the internationals in Utrecht Region truly settle in and enjoy their time here. We want to make sure that they will find their way, that their needs are met and that they have access to the services and information they need. Check out our past projects and follow us on Facebook and Instagram to not miss any future events.

The UR-Glocal ambassador's club is an initiative of the International Welcome Centre Utrecht Region. It's the welcome centre's mission to help international newcomers settle-in. That is why they support the ambassador club financially. To make sure that the ambassadors are able to organise fun and accessible events for the community and provide the welcome centre with valuable feedback to further improve their services.
