The International Welcome Centre (IWCUR) offers international staff a soft landing in Utrecht Region. We help your employees take care of administrative formalities. The IWCUR works with internationally oriented partner companies, encourages the use of English to provide information and promote services and works to improve facilities for all internationals in Utrecht Region so that they feel at home.

Feel at Home Session
We offer your new international talent the opportunity to register for a short welcome session. During the session, your employees will be introduced to the Dutch language and Dutch culture (corporate and general). Sessions are run in collaboration with our partner Radboud in’to Languages, which specialises in language and intercultural communication.
The Feel at Home Session introduces participants to the dos and don’ts of Dutch corporate culture in the context of general cultural standards in the Netherlands. The session helps participants get to grips with cultural aspects and shows how their actions and perceptions can affect communication and collaboration with others. Participants are introduced in a playful way to the Dutch language and guided towards relevant resources for more structural language acquisition. After all, the goal of Utrecht Region and employers is to increase the stay rate of knowledge workers. Learning the language plays a key role.
